Navigating KTH Data Repository

The following section gives a basic overview of how to navigate KTH Data Repository's user interface.

Header Content

From the header, you can:

  • Search: Search for records in all of KTH Data Repository. The search field is contextualized, so if you're browsing a community, you can choose between searching only the community or all of KTH Data Repository.

  • My dashboard: The dashboard provides access to your content in KTH Data Repository — to your uploads, communities, and requests.

  • Inbox: The request inbox provides quick access to view your pending requests such as draft reviews, community inclusion, ownership transfers, file replacements, etc.

  • Quick actions (+): The plus menu allows you to quickly create new uploads.

  • Profile: The profile menu allows you to manage your account and settings on KTH Data Repository, such as changing your password or linking/unlinking ORCID/GitHub accounts.

Each of these sections is detailed below.

The search field is contextualized, so if you search while browsing a community, you have the option to search only that community or all of KTH Data Repository. The search field supports simple keyword-style searches as well as advanced search (see the advanced search guide).

Dashboard

The dashboard allows you to easily access and manage your content in KTH Data Repository via the following menus:

  • My uploads: All your drafts and published records.
  • My communities: All your communities that you own or are a member of.
  • My requests: All open and closed requests such as draft reviews, community inclusion, ownership transfers, etc. This includes both requests created by you or sent to you by other users.

Quick actions

The + menu allows you to easily create new content in KTH Data Repository.

Profile

The profile menu allows you to manage your account and settings:

  • Profile: Your full name, affiliations, email address, as well as profile/email visibility.
  • Change password: Update your password if you logged in with a local account.
  • Notifications: Change whether you want to receive notifications from KTH Data Repository.
  • Security: View all devices logged into your current account.
  • Linked accounts: All external accounts linked to KTH Data Repository (e.g., GitHub, ORCID).
  • Applications: Allows you to create API access tokens and API applications.

In the footer, you'll find links to documentation about KTH Data Repository as well as our privacy policy,terms of use and change the language between English and Swedish.
